Fully Convinced

"No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God; but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, FULLY CONVINCED that God was able to do what he had promised." Romans 4:19-21

This verse spoke loudly and clearly to me tonight, awakening me from my self-centered stupor. So many questions swirling in my mind, tempting me to unbelief in my sovereign Lord! So many "distrusts" so often compete for my attention - will God be good, will He be faithful, does he remember my lot, and the list goes on. The cross speaks to these questions! He HAS been good! He HAS been ultimately faithful! He gave His life for my sin-laced lot. My questions are silenced in view of His mercy. 

No distrust. No wavering. Growing in my faith. Giving glory to God. Fully convinced. This is where by God's grace I will stand.
