Faith

I'm reading "Future Grace" (again) by John Piper. Oh how my weak heart needs to hear the truth of Christ's future grace, already at work on my behalf!! Just as I look in joyful gratitude to the past, I am to look in joyful confidence to the future. Joyful confidence. Wow! So often I find myself either being joyful, but not confident. Or confident but not joyful. Lord, may I look in JOYFUL CONFIDENCE to the future, knowing the it is in nail-scarred hands. Because of your work on the cross, we anticipate your active grace at work on our behalf. What a Savior!!
