Friendships

This week has been such a neat week for me....Last week in particular I was specifically asking the Lord to provide friendships and opportunities for fellowship. It's been an adjustment for me diving into a new church, new job, new state, being away from dear family, etc....But this week was such an obvious answer to prayer. In SO many ways. First of all, Jeannie Harvey had me over Monday night for a wonderful meal and fellowship. THEN, I had coffee (well hot cocoa to be exact) with Megan Roca on Tuesday night. We had such a fun time talking and laughing together, encouraging each other in the Lord. Then on top of that, Keith and Amanda Welton (who just moved from Orlando to serve at the PC) invited me over for dinner tonight! We had a blast getting to know each other. I especially enjoyed time with their sweet little ones...I've missed being around kids! Tomorrow is a ladies mtg. where Carolyn Mahaney will be speaking. And Saturday, I get the joy of touring DC with all the PC families. The Lord just heaped on the relational provision this week!!! How kind of Him to answer so specifically and so lavishly!!
