Perpetual busyness...

Tonight I am struggling with discouragement. I'm tired. Just plain tired! And yet I know that God gives us strength for all that He has called us to do. So I am trying to discern if I am doing more than what God has called me to. This can be so difficult to discern! For there are seasons in our lives when He calls us to difficult tasks...Tasks where we feel inadequate and unable. And these seasons while uncomfortable always show me more of my Savior's faithfulness and empowering.
So I am asking lots of questions right now -

1. What am I doing that I shouldn't be doing?
2. A perpetual sense of being overwhelmed can be rooted in pride...thinking I can do it all. Do I think I can do it all? Or am I aware of my desperate need of the Lord?
3. Why do I consistently feel behind? Am I being sinfully lazy and not attending to the priorities God has placed before me? Am I using my time wisely?
4. What are ways I can be cultivating humility in this busy season?

I am eager to see how God will meet me in this season. Oh how aware I am of my desperate need!!!!!!

This is exactly where I'm at! I'm so convicted of doing too much - even good things. I'm trying to sort out what is His calling & what things I've taken on without His leading / blessing. Thank you so much for being willing to share this - it blesses & challenges me. I want to simplify my life and focus on what's important.
