Sitting at His feet...

I'm freshly convicted to spend time with my Savior. Do I awake desperate for my time with Him? Or do I try to squeeze in some time before I race out the door, my day's agenda reeling through my mind....? Sadly, this week, I am in the latter group. And I confess that with deep sadness. I want to be so desperate for the Lord that my very first thought is spending uninterrupted time at His feet. Bob Kauflin made a great comment this morning that stuck with me. He was talking about what a busy season this is for all of us. And he just said, "Well, all you can do is be sure you have time with the Lord, and just do whatever else you can." This is so true! Lord, may I awake each morning, desperately desiring to meet with You. Apart from You, I can do nothing. Nothing at all.
