Battling

I am really battling for faith today. There is a particular area of my life I am really struggling in trusting the Lord with...so here i sit in Panera reading "Battling Unbelief" by John Piper. And the verses above spoke to me right where I am today. In need of grace. In need of faith. Looking to my Savior. You are good. You are faithful. Deserving death, You've given me such riches in Christ. So here today, right now in the midst of my despondency, I freshly turn my gaze to You, O Lord!! I know You are eager to meet me in the midst of my fight for faith. How good You are!

I know you know ALL of this, sweet friend! I'm not sure what your present battles are (and I'm not one to be intrusive), but I'm battling in the area of trust, too - with a few areas, actually. I'm praying for you:) Keep writing - even in your battles, you encourage me with the way you cling to Him.
