My Dear Friend's Visit

Well, I have certainly not been faithful in the land of blogs. I find it difficult sometimes to keep up with this thing...:) But I wanted to fill you all in on my wonderful last 5 days with my dear friend Andrea! We met at Grace Church in San Diego and were fast friends. The Lord has preserved our friendship and what a joy it has been! This past week, she came to visit me here in the DC area. We had an absolute blast! In true Andrea/Melissa style, we definitely overbooked our time, but it was well worth the energy expended! From an evening in DC to an evening in Bethesda (complete with seeing "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs") to fun meals out to a day roaming the streets of Annapolis, we had a BLAST! And of course, many heart-to-heart talks and endless laughter. What an encouragement to have her here! And just plain fun. I miss her already! But am so grateful God blessed us with this memorable time together. :) Lots of pix on my Facebook page!
