God became man

What an amazing time of year it is. We celebrate the mystery and miracle of Christ coming to earth and becoming man. He left his throne on High and humbled himself, becoming a baby. And this was all part of God's glorious redemption plan! It really IS amazing! So midst the often-hurried pace of this season, I want to remind myself often to stop and ponder what Christ did on my behalf. It's not about giving the perfect gifts, hosting the perfect parties, writing that profoud Christmas letter or having beautiful decorations (as much I love enjoying these things). It's about Christ. This calms and quiets my heart and gives meaning to it all. Hope has come!! Let us rejoice!
