All the way my Savior leads me!

What a week it has been! A rich, wonderful one! The Pastors College had the joy of hosting a preaching practicum to equip the pastors of Sovereign Grace. It was a very fruitful time of equipping, and it was such a privilege to be able to serve these dear pastors. A personal highlight for me was being able to watch a few different seasons of my life collide. I got to see Eric Turbedsky, a pastor originally from Grace Church in San Diego (my original church). But now here we are a few years later and they are in Orange County leading a church plant, and I am in Gaithersburg, MD serving at the Pastors College. And the entire journey of my getting here is a tightly woven tapestry of God's hand at work. I meet this person, they introduce me to the next person. And then years down the line that very friendship becomes a catalyst for where God is leading. To top it all off, my parents' pastor in Fredericksburg, VA was at the practicum this week. And I was freshly recalling all that God did in that story. Last year I got to know a couple who attended the Pastors College. And then this year the Lord relocated my parents to the church where this gentlemen is an assistant pastor. So my parents already had a sense of belonging before they even arrived. I could go on and on. Wow! It blows my mind at times as I think about how our Savior leads us. So gently. So faithfully. So clearly, despite our frequent misgivings and confusion. This gives me such faith for the future. There are no chance encounters. No lucky events in life. My sovereign God is about my path. He leads. All the way.
