Relishing San Diego!

I am having an absolute blast here in San Diego!! So grateful for the Lord's kindness to me! Saturday I got to enjoy the wedding of my friend Jenny Murphy! And I had the joy of helping my sister-in-law as she coordinated the wedding. A very long day! But a very fun one! We started the day with manicures (kind of funny in light of what I'd be doing with my hands all day!). From chopping peppers, lemons, creating lavender lemonade, and helping with misc. tasks, it was a fun day!! And a joy to see the Lord bless Ryan and Jenny as they became man and wife! Another treat for me at the wedding was getting to catch up with old friends. I was surprised to see Josh Sczebel there (from Vancouver), and enjoyed catching up with him as well as a number of other dear friends - Kirsi Turbedsky, Leslie Wilson, etc ...So grateful for these sweet times with friends!

Today, after I forced my eyelids open and commanded my legs to actually walk, we went to church where I was able to worship at Grace Church! And of course, after the service, there were countless sweet conversations. The Body of Christ is an amazing thing! The Gospel keeps our ties strong, despite the time that passes.

After church, I enjoyed fish tacos! Oh how I've missed them! :) Then enjoyed a relaxing movie with my brother and sis-in-law, shopped a bit, got my dress steamed for the wedding I'm in next weekend and finished it off with some time with my sis-in-law's family. A delightful day! And the brilliant sunshine just made me smile!!!
