Will He not?

This morning found me with lots of questions swirling in my mind. They were bubbling below the surface, and I couldn't even fully articulate them. Just a vague sense of not being fully at ease. You see, I find myself once again in a season of change. Role at work is changing, a Pastors College class has just graduated so friendships and relationships are in flux, and the list goes on. But isn't much of our life comprised of these seasons of change? Life is ever-changing, ever-moving. Just when we think we are "settled," we quickly realize something new is on the horizon. I am slowly learning to treasure rather than balk at these times. As I'm being driven to a desperate dependence on my Savior, I am seeing that these times are a gift. Truly a gift. A moment of seeing with astounding clarity what is most precious in this life - Christ. I long to lean into these times. To willingly welcome the unknown. To confidently and even joyfully walk the roads that are unclear, hazed with the clouds of "what-if's." I was reading a commentary on the book of Ruth this morning and was so helped by the following encouragement that He "will order all things well." If we fix our eyes on the glorious grace of God and his costly answer for our deepest need, then we will not so quickly doubt that he will meet all of our other needs. Since The Lord has shown us this covenant faithfulness, will he not order all things well in our lives? (Duguid) Will he not? He who shed his blood for me?
